According to GREC Rules, It is a violation to conduct business under a name other than that which is registered with GREC. (fine is $600.00)

If your common name does not match the name as it appears on your GA Real Estate License, consult your Broker and consider taking one of the following actions:

Submit a Change Application, at no charge, with GREC to have your Real Estate License reflect your common name. Here is the link: https://grec.state.ga.us/wp-content/uploads/pdfs/GRECChangeApplication.pdf . Complete Section A of the GREC Change Application form and Check the “Change my name” box in section B & enter the desired name. Important: Use the NEW name when signing the form in Section F.
OR, begin using your name as it appears on your Georgia Real Estate License for business activities i.e. Marketing, when completing forms and contracts, etc.
