All GIAR Members and GIMLS Subscribers who hold a GA Brokers License are welcome to attend. This includes Associate Brokers, Managing Brokers, and Designated Brokers. 

The session is scheduled for 9:30-11:00 AM

GIAR Broker Forum Policies & Procedures

PURPOSE: To meet at least once a quarter to provide Broker education, to provide a Broker-to-Broker resource network, and to encourage participation of members and recruitment of non-members.

COMPOSITION:

CHAIR: Appointed by the President

CO-CHAIR: Appointed by the President-Elect

RESTRICTIONS: Limited to Designated REALTOR Brokers, Managing Brokers and Associate Broker members of GIAR.

TERM: One year

REPORTING: Vice President of Professional Development

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Organize Broker educational programs and networking opportunities for sharing with fellow Brokers re: ideas, successes, and challenges.

· Promote and strengthen Broker involvement with the local Association, state Association and NAR’s Broker Involvement Program (BIP).

· To Promote and strengthen member involvement in the Association and inform non-Broker members of important Association events, classes, and updates.

· The Brokers Forum is not a policy-making body; however, recommendations and concerns shall be forwarded to the appropriate GIAR and/or GIMLS Committee(s).

· Shall perform such other duties as directed by the Board of Directors.

· Shall confine its activities to its specific purpose(s) as defined in the Policies and Procedures as outlined in the purpose, duties & responsibilities.

· Shall comply with existing GIAR Anti-Trust, Anti-Harassment, Social Media, Confidentiality, and Conflict of Interest Policies.
