About
I am a Georgia girl who came home to roost. I grew up in Rural Georgia, lived in NC for 25 years before moving home. Real Estate is my 2nd career. My education is in Computer Science and I worked federal government then in the public library enjoying every minute of it. But I am a people person and decided to leave the technical world. I am committed to being a full time Realtor; let my dedication work for you. My true passion is helping people. I get to help people find their perfect home, life is good. I feel Southeast Georgia is the best place to live and I am eager to help you find your home.
You only need ONE Realtor and I may be the ONE for YOU.
I have been a full time Realtor since 2014. And an Associate Broker since 2017.
My education is in Computer Science and Library Science. I am a retired IT person in the public Library System. This gives me a great background for Real Estate in today’s market. Customer service, detailed, computer literate; are all excellent traits for a Realtor. Also, I have never worked an hourly job. I was salaried and on call 24/7. 9:00-5:00 is not what I am accustomed to or expect. I work 7 days a week for my clients. I am often answering the phone at 10: 00 pm and I was returning texts at 6:15 AM.

My business tag line is Follow the Dragonfly. I know that does not sound like Real Estate, but people underestimate the dragonfly. Dragonflies look timid but they are hunters with a 95% success rate when it comes to catching their prey. Compare that to 25% for lions or 50% for sharks. Dragonflies fly faster than hummingbirds. When you see a dragonfly, you're looking at one of the oldest creatures on Earth! Dragonflies are older than dinosaurs. Dragonfly fossils date back 60 million years before the dinosaur. Warrior, success, speed, perseverance are great attributes.
I deal with people and emotions are often high. I fully understand the emotional part but sometimes I need them to take a step back and see the big picture. I provide documentation to paint a picture of the market. My computer and Library background really makes me like numbers and statistics. I spend a lot of time looking for patterns. Graphs really give a visual. Trying to figure out property values is a science. I have taken classes, studied appraisals, asking Appraisers lots of questions; and YES, I have a spreadsheet. ½ bath added $2-2.5K value, full bath $5-6K, fenced yard $2-2.5K, enclosed pool, golf view, marsh view. Is the market increasing, decreasing or stable? There are no set-in stone numbers, a lot of variables. I am not an Appraiser, have no ambitions to be one. But understanding the process really helps when coming up with suggestions for my clients. I feel having data helps Clients feel more confident and comfortable.
